Dr. Friedman grew up in North Miami Beach and graduated from North Miami Beach Senior High School. Upon graduation, he entered the United States Air Force as a dental assistant and served for 4 years. In 1993, he graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine and continued his education with a one year hospital based dental residency at Washington University and Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Friedman is a member of organized dentistry through the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association in addition to being a Board member at Broward Community College responsible for helping to develop curriculum and training for the Dental Assisting program. He maintains his dental license in both Florida and Missouri. He is also a retired Dental Officer of the United States Air Force Reserve.
Dr. Friedman enjoys many areas of dentistry and is uncompromising in the importance of continuing education. He remains current in the most advanced methods of diagnosis and treatment and is constantly incorporating the latest technology into his practice through continuing education. He is committed to developing trusting relationships with his patients by providing comprehensive and individualized care. His expertise and reputation have been noted by his peers and hundreds of satisfied patients.
He and his wife, along with their two daughters, live in Weston.
Dr. Lewis joined Dr. Friedman as an associate dentist in December 2007. Originally from New York, she relocated to South Florida in 2004. She began her work in the dental field at 16 years old as a dental assistant and continued to gain experience through high school and college. In 2000, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She continued her formal dental education with a one year, hospital based residency at the Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey.
Dr. Lewis is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, an organization that promotes higher learning through continuing education so that its members can better serve the public. She completes continuing education on a regular basis to stay current in the field of dentistry. She maintains her dental license in New York, New Jersey and Florida.
Dr. Lewis is committed to providing quality dental treatment. Her high standard of care, attention to detail, ethical behavior, and gentle approach have been noted by both colleagues and patients. Her goal is to create a relaxed, positive experience for all her patients.
She lives in Weston with her husband and two sons.
